[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I received an unexpected phone call from Geghetsik Sahakyan, the Head of the Social Ministry Development Center. With an alarming voice, she told me that the authorities intend to send five siblings who attend the Center to orphanage and to deprive their parents of the parental rights. The worst thing was, according to their plan, they would separate the children and send them to different orphanages.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I was aware that the children lived in terrible conditions. We somewhat improved their living conditions thinking that soon we would complete the renovation of the Social Center Building and then focus on building their house. However, that news was so unexpected that we had to make a right decision as soon as possible. It was not an option to allow the children to be separated, and even more, to be placed in orphanages. The vision of our ministry is to prevent children from going to orphanages and create a warm family atmosphere for their development. For a moment, I thought about suspending the renovation of the Social Center Building and to direct all the funds available to improving the living conditions of these children. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I was facing a huge dilemma; at that moment, the interior finish of the 100sqm hall of the Social Center Building was completely removed, and we needed to complete it very soon, because the whole Social Ministry Team, the 45 children enrolled in the Social Center, the Social Center beneficiaries with disabilities and the Social Ministry Volunteer Team were looking forward to the completion of the renovation of the building. We needed a lot of money for that.<\/span><\/p>\n

And not a less amount of money was necessary for improving the living conditions of these children. They had a two-storied house and lived on the first floor, which was a basement floor with little rooms, earth floor, and no sanitary and hygienic conditions. The second floor was unfinished; it had rooms planned for a kitchen, a balcony, a living-room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet. However, the ceiling of the second floor and the roof of the building were not completed. I give such a detailed description so that you can have an idea of an amount of money we would need to make it suitable for living. I knew that I could make a right decision only by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Moreover, we never had a separate budget and money in cash for our construction, so we did not have it at that particular time either. There was not even a gleam of hope of any donation coming.<\/span><\/p>\n

Immediately, a thought came to me: we should continue the renovation of the 100sqm hall of the Social Center Building and at the same time start the construction of the children\u2019s house. To start such a responsible task without having even a dollar for the construction was like walking on water.<\/span><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter where you are and where you intend to go; to serve God acceptably, one needs to see where Jesus is, stand by His side and be led by the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus was leading me to walk on water. I went out of my comfort zone and stood on the water, by His side.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory, glory and glory and a thousand halleluiahs to our supernatural God for His grace and love! Not only He raised a powerful team to be with me, but also sent the funds in a supernatural way, and in two months, we completed both the renovation of the Social Center Building, and the construction of the house of these children \u2013 the roof, the ceiling, the bathroom with toilet, the bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we have unity and the Church is in its place, we have power to make a difference on the earth. I am so grateful to the members of the Word of Life Church who helped to furnish the house of these children. I am also grateful to the Social Ministry Team, all the volunteers, the Head of the construction and all the builders, who selflessly carried out the will of the Lord on the earth.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_section][vc_row][vc_column]
