For years, I dreamed of having a “special evening” dedicated to Jesus the Savior. Imagine a beautifully decorated hall, a music team of worshippers, God’s people festively dressed and stories about the miracles received by to the power of crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus the Savior.
My dream came true with the help of the Social Ministry Team and Worship Team of the Word of Life Church. We had a wonderful evening; God’s glory covered everyone. People told about the supernatural miracles, through which their lives were changed. The miracles were diverse, – healing from incurable diseases, unexpected financial blessings, long-awaited birth of a child, getting out of a car that fell from the road into a ravine without a scratch, freedom from alcoholism that lasted for years… people were telling their stories with emotion and tears of happiness…
I listened to each one of them, and in my mind’s eye, I saw God – Jesus the Savior, the Holy Spirit and the Father God – full of mercy, love and grace. In the stories of these people, God Who created the universe and holds eternity in His hands is revealed in different facets of His nature. It all can be summed up with the following sentence, “God loved man so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that all who believe in Him might live and have abundance.”
